Our meeting is 9:30 until 12.00 however many of our members like to arrive at 9:00 am to socialize with friends, choose or return books from our library, or pick up a quilt kit to work on from one of our community projects.
Our Guild meets on the first Wednesday of every month, September through June, at
Westdale United Church 1509 Sherbrooke St. West Peterborough.

After discussions with the Church, there will be no more Kawartha Quiltmakers' Guild meetings in 2020 due to Covid-19
. As a result of a "virtual" Executive Committee meeting, please be advised that a decision was made to not charge membership fees for September to, and including, December. There are no guarantees that we will be resuming in January but this will be revisited later this year when we receive more information from the Church.
Our meeting consists of a business portion, coffee break and a program.
After the meeting those who wish to participate can bring a brown bag lunch and stay for an afternoon of sewing on a Wednesday afternoon project or work on one of your own. Details of each project will be listed in our newsletter and supply list will be provided, or check on the web page, here. This little sewing bee is a great way to meet and make new friends and get a little extra sewing time.We work on simple quilt patterns, blocks, small bags and many other fun projects.
